By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
By accessing or using OnlyHighYield, checking the agreement box during account creation, or otherwise using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Notice, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
OnlyHighYield is an independent study platform that provides summaries, flashcards, and related study materials intended to help students preparing for the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK examinations focus on high-yield concepts. Content is written and organized by OnlyHighYield based on the general subject areas and concepts tested by standardized exam forms.
The Service does not reproduce, quote, or provide access to the actual proprietary questions of any licensing or testing organization. Any references to specific exam forms or question numbers are provided solely as internal citations for our own content and do not grant access to, or constitute reproduction of, copyrighted exam material.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if that is older, to create an account or use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

We welcome feedback, bug reports, and feature suggestions submitted through the Service or by email. By submitting feedback, you grant OnlyHighYield a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the Service without any obligation to compensate you or attribute the feedback to you. Please do not submit feedback that you consider confidential or that you do not have the right to share.
All summaries, flashcards, explanations, design elements, and other original content on OnlyHighYield (the "Content") are owned by OnlyHighYield or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Content for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation only.
OnlyHighYield is currently free to use during the beta period. We accept optional, voluntary donations processed through PayPal to help cover the costs of running the Service. Donations are not payments for goods or services, are non-refundable except where required by law, and do not entitle you to any specific features unless expressly stated at the time of donation.
If OnlyHighYield introduces a paid subscription model in the future, users who made a qualifying donation during the beta period will be granted lifetime access to the Service at no additional cost, as a token of our appreciation. This benefit is offered at our discretion and is subject to reasonable verification of your donation.
OnlyHighYield is intended to supplement, not replace, your medical school curriculum, accredited coursework, and other established study resources. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, score, or result on the USMLE or any other examination from use of the Service. Your performance depends on many factors outside of our control, including your individual study habits, background knowledge, and exam-day circumstances.
Nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice, and the Service is not intended to be used for the diagnosis or treatment of any patient.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ONLYHIGHYIELD AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR EXAM RESULTS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE DONATED TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OnlyHighYield and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting contact@OnlyHighYield.com. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms or as part of changes to or discontinuation of the beta program. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, and 16) will survive.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as an email or an in-app notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Before filing a claim against OnlyHighYield, you agree to first contact us at contact@OnlyHighYield.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of that notice, either party may pursue formal proceedings as set out below.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Rwanda, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any proceedings to resolve a dispute will be conducted only on an individual basis, and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of the Service resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disaster, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, or internet, hosting, or utility failures.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or any rights or obligations under them, without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
By using the Service, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by email or through notices posted on the Service. You agree that all agreements, notices, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. We may send notices to you using the email address associated with your account, so please keep it current.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be a waiver of that right. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. You agree to comply with all applicable export control and economic sanctions laws in connection with your use of the Service. These Terms, together with our Privacy Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and OnlyHighYield regarding the Service.
